Declaration on digital accessibility
DEBAG Deutsche Backofenbau GmbH endeavors to keep its website www.debag.com in terms of digital accessibility and to continuously improve it.
We are aware of the social and creative importance of accessible websites. Even if, as a company with a focus on the B2B sector, we are not obliged to provide a barrier-free website in accordance with Section 1 (3) of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) not obliged to fully implement the legal requirements we take the needs of all users seriously.
Current status
Our website is currently not completely barrier-free, but largely meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 / 2.2 - conformance level AA.
We are working to gradually identify and remove digital barriers. Our aim is to increase user-friendliness and accessibility for all people - regardless of their individual abilities.
The following contents are for the following reasons not barrier-free:
- PDF documents are not completely barrier-free.
- No subtitles or audio descriptions are available for certain videos
- Some controls are not yet fully keyboard operable.
- Individual control elements in the mobile view are currently not fully usable via keyboard or screen reader, especially navigation elements such as the hamburger menu.
Reason
The implementation represents a disproportionate burden in terms of the applicable legal provisions.
We are constantly working to identify existing barriers. These barriers are removed gradually and in accordance with our human and technical resources.
